Free datasets, support and tools for journalism

Bright Data offers a free program to support journalists’ needs to retrieve public web data.

Through our program, newsrooms and individual journalists can access OSINT tools, such as premade or custom datasets, our state-of-the-art APIs, proxies, and templated scrapers.

If you are a beginner at data collection we can handle the whole process for you, from ready-made datasets to custom-built datasets. We also have a suite of tools if you would like to gather data yourself.
